K9 in Process... 3
However with sides are bit challenging because of the angles. So I figured out the shapes and measurements. I tested one by one. Just one side and I made it. Thank god. One more side to go. Done.
Can't find the plastic piece for eye. I can't remember where it went. Grrrr.
Last thing is some sort of gun out of nose. I think I just have a thing for it somewhere... will check it out.

LED Lights

Just drop a note...
As of now, being busy as always. Just wanted to tell about my K9 model.
I work on it when I have free time. Often time, I do my homework and stuffs first. Of course I wish it is done.
The last thing I was thinking was should I add light or not. Since it is foam core board.. I am concerning about heat from light that may effect its structure. I think of LED which is small and should be okay. Still not decide just yet.
When I was thinking about how to set nose... somehow I washed my dishes, I saw my plastic cookware that has part looks like nose. Interesting.... if I find one like that or find a way... wait and see.
Here's sneak peek of my K9 model. Taken on 10/31

Right now I am working on neck with coverings which are remnants of fabrics.
It's like recycle them than waste them....
I finished the tail part. It's cute.
Later!
P.S. I just worked on back top part... like I said details on base of body will be put on hold as well as nose part. I gonna try to work on eye part... figure out red stuffs...

K9 in Process...
Body part, there are few details but I will not to do it now... I will hold that until later date.
I already got paints. Yah. Got few things for ear "antennas" and "eye"
I know I could not wait to complete it. Making a plan takes much longer than build it!
Keep in mind that I am using foam core board... not metal... not strong plastic thing... not wood.
I hope in the future that I could made it with better materials but for now, I am just enjoyed making it. I'm trying to take a photo of step by step.
Does my knitted collar look nice on him???
(Top part of body is not finished, there is some more to come to build)

K9 collar
Will post photo of it when I'm done. it's fast and easy... not like my scarf- lol.
P.S. I was pondering why it showed bars instead of plain... then I found small piece of plain and noticed something in one section... it looks bars. Interesting. Will show you what I meant soon.
Here it is.

K-9 3D paper model in "life-size"
printer, hee hee... oh well...
Print for head, antennas, collar and tail together is about 44 pages.
Print for body is about 70-something pages, I forgot to count but is larger.
Both are in low-resolution. Less space it takes. Both are under 2mb.
I can post if you want to do it for yourself... drop me a note.
Can use as guild to build life-size K9 robotic dog.
Will post a photo later.

Cute Creatures or Gross Creatures?
If anyone remember the episode "Partners in Crime" Anyway... I think it's either gross or crazy idea of using fat to create little creatures... Adipose? I have no idea.
I think in August release of action figure, there is Doctor with 5 Adipose but the rumor was it is limited. Is that fact? I have no idea.
Other thing is... I don't remember seeing him in red shoes in that episode... mmm... I swore it was white/grey shoes. I just checked some screen captures of that episode and there's Doctor running with white/grey shoes. Why is this image has red shoes???
In the package, I saw was white/grey shoes, not red. Ugh...

K9 Model
I found one online, of course, it's not mine but is smaller for 12 inches doll.
I just resized/enlarged it, hope it looks fine for 12 inches doll. It's just draft like a test sheet.
Take a look. I am not sure how it supposed to be measure but anyway, here's picture of Doctor doll with test K9 model.
Someday, I'll print it in color. Right now, it's just a "test drive"
K9 on right is the one I printed from online (depend which printer you are using that determined the size. I printed it from college into letter-size paper), K9 on left is the one I enlarge and printed (I printed it in paint program at college... it printed out 4 pages with bit white space "border" around it I think without border it may print on 2 pages but not sure). If you like to try to print the one I enlarged, drop me a note.
Who is Who???

Getting there... Scarf
As for the knitting. I can tell my scarf looked like 4th Doctor's. Only thing is not match is green yarn because I can't find one in that thick/size of yarn in olive so I use different green. I remember something in doctorwhoscraf.com, he said something about one brown (I think) that to use it for brown and olive sections. Olive is sort of mixed of green and brown. Anyway. I'm getting there soon. I'm glad that I'm almost done with it. My god!
My next plan would be build K-9 robotic dog and also mini scarf for 12 inches doll. I'm sure doll scarf is swift than regular one. Trust me. I printed out K-9 plan but found out it was measured bit larger by mistake. Ooops. I'm gonna fix the measurement and will print soon. It will be just "shell" with no motor part, will use foam core board. I do not want tech just yet.
If I succeed with mini scarf. I could post the knit plan if wish to do one yourself. Drop me a note.

Have you seen those figures?
But the price... ouch. Why? What's the point?
And also I saw new Captain Jack figure with long coat
(like it better than other without coat)... single figure of 9th Doctor (not my type anyway) and on online was 4th Doctor. I heard 4th was bit challenge because in some place it's already sold out. Mmmm...
What's next?
I wish they made K-9 to go with 12 inches Doctor Who figure. Oh, well. Maybe I make one from my 3-D model. I am not sure how tall it is but maybe print it bit smaller to fit the scale? Anyway...

Shoes?
I am not sure but for fun side. I found this red shoes and on the next day I found another shoes.
What's worse... not able to find similiar suit/pant. I did found brown pant but they're out of suit... GRRRRRR! I did checked same store in other town. Same problem... All they have left are black ones with pinstripe. BLIMEY! When did they got them in stock? It's female style but is similar. I feel like I am out of my mind for THIS!

TARDIS Model
I do have London phone booth (it was for Bratz doll but I love that booth. I am not exact fan of Bratz. I have two of them in "London" clothes. I like to collect anything that is related to London/England)
Anyway.. I found "blueprint" online. Recently I found another and it said 20 inches... I am not sure of what it is really measure for 12 inches doll. So I did guesswork... I used doll and wallpaper of Christopher Eccleston who stood next to TARDIS as aid for my plot. I even played around with photoshop to see how big I should build. I finally got it. Both ways I did came with same results.
I already bought foam core boards few months ago. All I need is to print my "blueprint" and then start to work on it.
There was an argument over both Tennant's and Eccleston's heights. I looked at few days ago and they felt that Eccleston is taller than Tennant. I could said he looked taller but when I look at them next to the TARDIS (in wallpapers and screen captures) They seemed are at same height. Nevertheless. I left a comment there, said someone should have them take off their shoes and measure them. That should stop argument.

His hair???
Then I read what it said. (laughing) Mmm....
I forgot where I found it. Oh well.
Should have said "Doctor's Hair" because I saw other one by that person who typed "Captain Jack Harkness" with funny sentence under the picture. Guess maybe that person did not think. I don't know.
Halloween or Bust...
Some of you may have visited http://www.doctorwhoscarf.com/ the guy updated his page because he found different yarn. I did look there and it is not same info as I got before he changed it. I am lucky that I saved/printed them out before that happened.
Anyhow... I hope I can finish before Halloween.
I hope to go to Joann soon too... to find alternative fabric for Doctor Who clothes... mmm... I could easily dress as 4th Doctor instead of 10th Doctor unless I find the right fabric. I have seen online that someone selling 10th Doctor clothes but the cost is.... ugh... and cost of shipping... ugh... but again to measure my body to give them... I don't know how. I afriad if I measure wrong then end up not able to wear it. Not worth for me. I just simple follow my clothes as pattern. Better than sorry. I wore pant, vest, shirt, blazer before for Halloween. Only one is no longer with me is pant. Today, on Main St. thrift store have some stuffs to giveaway for free. I came across one pant.. interesting enough... was a grey with white pinstripe. I also found a bunch of Chinese clothes for kids too. I saved them for kids to play dress up or Halloween.

Dr Who Coat Process...
Thanks to my old trenchcoat. I did it with "slit" part (top) on the back of coat.
Not yet sew the end of the sleeve (near hands). I'm just adjust the length to see if it looked fine... same thing for the bottom of the coat... still work on that...
Patience, Queen Mallory, patience.

Sonic Pen?
It was weird finding.
I was cleaning my computer desk... I put away some of my pencil and pen to the carrying bin. I noticed something in there... There was a pen almost look like the Sonic Pen... serious... what I need is a blue light... lol. I just laughed. What the hell going on??? Did Doctor put it in there? Hee hee.
I believed I got it from the festival. There were some booths that give away freebies with their companies/providers names (i.e. on plastic cup, keychain, pen, pencil, small toys...) this one I got from I forgot which provider booth but label was on it made by Saratoga Pen Company. It's good weight. It's full metal.
Or the mall booths? I have no idea. It was few years ago. If it has name same as booth on it, I would have known. Anyway. Bye!

Just waiting...
I know I can't wait for mail from them.
But, I won't know if they read it or not... I have no idea. Mail get lost? Wrong address? I don't know. In my past experiences, I sent out several letters to some Harry Potter actors... Only few answered back.
But for few of actors I want to give my many thanks to Alan Rickman (love you!) for his photo and his time, and Rupert Grint for his time and photo as well.
Both Daniel Radcliffe (single shot) and Emma Watson (group shot), both sent pre-print autographed photos which I believe they either do not have time to answer normal or whatever (like too many fan mails for them to answer...) That reminded me of actor from Home Alone character Kevin... I found address for my sister because she loves that movie. I got his photo with his name stamped on it.
I think Robbie Coltrane photo is probably pre-print (I did test it).

Halloween?
I have a problem...
I thought why not be Doctor for Halloween... BUT!
Who knows this character?
My original plan was to dress as Professor Severus Snape since seemly everyone knows of Harry Potter movies.
Not Doctor Who. Interesting... When I talked of him/that show, I get question "Who is Doctor Who?" or "What is TARDIS?" except one guy who saw that show in 2005 on SciFi. (He knows of Doctor but when I talked of the TARDIS. He asked me what is it. My god. He watched it for a year and don't know what TARDIS is? Huh? Somebody shoot me!)
Unless I live in UK. Ugh. (Head banging on the wall) Not fair!
Should I go as Doctor or what? Your feedback please.
Problem was I went to the fabric store. I can't find brown with pinstripe. There are black, grey and one more color I forgot that has pinstripe. Bummer. I like brown one... oh well... I could do blue one but brown looks good on my skin. Hee hee. I do still have two suits from previous halloween (Dick Tracy and other) that I can use as pattern. Anyway. Bye for now.

Where's Jack?
My friend told me she needs some photos from our college life. Turned out she didn't have much photos (they were missing or so). I told her that I had only a few of her.... will scan them for her.
I found my album and guess what? There was a photo from my other college, it was party for my friend who was leaving from this college to other college. "Farewell" party... anyway. I found a picture of us in group. There was JACK! (Jack's face is more of round than David which looked oval.) Anyway...
Whoa!
I laughed! Gonna scan this!

Try to relax...
When I was on way to there, I started to write a story and then I got back, my story's done.
That means the weekend is so boring!
My twin nephew and niece were screaming, complaining on all the way to there and worse on way back.
Ahhhh!!!
Supposed to have my apt ready... all set for visitor. I just gave up... do something to release stress... and did this.
Just having fun with this. Personally, I don't exactly have a crush on him. No. Just think he's interesting... well, cute in his own way. I do have a crush on someone else- other actor.

New Figures...
I was there, hoping to buy the watch. I checked out the figures and found this one. I also bought one in spacesuit. Just in mood.
The last time I was there... there is no 12 inches Doctor figure. They still have same Martha and Cyberman since. There are some sets but I just do not want to have too many. So far I have three total... the first one I got was Doctor in trenchcoat with K-9.
Talk later!
Working...
I have old picture of me as Dick Tracy.
As Dick Tracy, Halloween 1990 or 1991
Anyway... the coat did help me to figure out how to make back (slit part) of the trenchcoat for Doctor Who figure.

David Tennant Wallpaper
Decided to do something else. I did some writing and then working a bit on tenchcoat pattern. Before I go to bed, I decided to try out scrapbook kit to create this.
The kit (freebies) is called 100 Days or Grandfather's 100th Celebration.

Testing the pattern
I copied pattern on plastic bag and then cut them out... I just cut back and front to see if I can get it on.
Like I said the figure is flexible. It went Matrix on me. Gee!
The pattern is fine so I mark to change few thing like reduce the width of waist. Marked on edge of the collar, and so on to make sure it look right. I am not sure of length of it... I just guess maybe 9 inches. From what I see in photos of Doctor Who. Maybe half inch more... mmm...
Here are photos of what I am doing with the pattern.

Doctor?
I actually smiled when I saw him.
I'm also feeling sad. Why did I see him? Curious.
Anyway, trying to create template of the tenchcoat is bit hard but I am getting it. Before I could cut the fabric. I will use old fabric or something as test to make sure it work.
The body of Doctor figure wasn't like Ken figure (Barbie's "boyfriend") When I carefully removed it from the package, the body is flexible that I almost can't keep it straight to stand. Golly! Also there is no "adjustable" for the shoes to stay on, bit loose. Bit strange to see shoe that big. What the heck is that? Its upper chest is bit big too as if he has "6-pack abs". Clothes on it are looking good but only thing is bothering me is size of pocket flip which looks bit big. Oh yes, hands are bit big too. Hmm...

What do I do now?
I thought I would give a try to mail one to David.
I don't know if my other mail have arrived to Tom Baker. The problem is that I can't find viable address. So far I have found three different addresses for Tom. None of it said clear which is currently.
Oh well...
What's next? I don't know...
I made a pod of Isolus Child
I am not sure of what it is but it was from the episode "Fear Her" from Doctor Who series. In that show, Rose dug on the road to find what looked like small rock which was a pod for the Isolus child. I thought I would take a challenge on that one. It's just small. I just working on it. I just doing some guess work on color of material I would use for that pod. I was glad to have some leftover materials from my old projects (unicorn figure and wand). I doubt I will have it in exact details but just do my best. Black "flakes" are bit hard to do anyway. I waited for it to come out of oven. It looked fine to me but bit dark cuz of "burn" I now cleaning with sandpaper and already put in tumbler machine. I can't wait to see the result. Will post a picture of finishing pod at night. By the way, I bought new fabrics for Doctor doll. Most fabrics I had are bright or loud(patterns). I do not have any brown or navy. Anyway, I am planning to do "blueprint" of the trenchcoat. I got one yard each (should be half yard but be safe than sorry).
It's almost done. just one more hour or two of polishing...
